Easy Knitted Soap Sack – a FREE Pattern

Knitting brings me back to my grandmother. It helps me meet new knitters in the knitting circles. It makes me smile thinking of the smiles knitted items from the heart bring to those who wear them or wear them. It’s similar to soap in these ways and brings joy through the simplest things. Why not combine them to knit your soapy sack?!

Soap Sacks serve a variety of reasons:

  1. You can store every last piece of soap (those final bits of soap that are a little difficult to work with or you discovered in your mysterious soap grab bags) up to the point that you have an entire suitcase to apply your soap in.
  2. If you do not have a soap dish inside your bathroom, you could hang your soap with the help of a soap bag. They are a fantastic way to keep your soap clean between uses.
  3. Certain people have a tough grasp on the soap bar. A soap sack is a great solution. The drawstring acts as a strap for wrists, preventing the soap from falling onto the floor. Additionally, the structure of the cloth makes it easier to hold.
  4. The fabric’s texture in my pattern makes an excellent scrubby for the shower!

The personal experiences regarding 3. When my husband was diagnosed with ataxia, showering was a major problem for him. We tried a variety of soap alternatives. Soap on a rope is decent, but the soap was too slippery for his feet. Also, we tried soaps that had loofas incorporated into them as well as some other options; however, it was the soapsack that seemed by far the best option. The soap bags have brought a sense of “normalcy” into our lives. I’m sure they’ll get a little happiness to you, too.

Create the soap sack and transform our soap into a unique present.

If you’re a knitter, this easy knit is a breeze (about 30-45 minutes of knitting). You can also add a bar soap made by hand, and you’ll be ready to give a loved gift (that can be put in the washing machine as well!)

If you know someone who is a knitter download the knitting pattern, and gift it to them, together with a bar of soap made from hand to create the perfect knitting gift. It is not necessary to include yarn as a present. This is a fantastic scrap-buster for your knitter friend, and they will be delighted to receive an easy pattern to make use of your yarn leftovers… they’ll be so happy they may even make one for you!

The scent is calming and soothing, making it a perfect choice for meditation. Many find the strong, musky aroma stimulating and encouraging feelings of peace and confidence. Essential oil is cleansing, as well as strengthening the skin in order to help balance the production of sebum in the skin. You might take a visit to a dying show, where you swayed around the stage along with the dwarf rats and your uncle pals… Oh, you’re right, that’s Kandra’s memory!
