This WordPress plugin lets users clone any post type or copy it to a new draft for further editing.

Install
Install from the WordPress Dashboard
- Click on Add new.
- Use the search box at the top-right to find “Duplicate Post.”
- Click the Install Now button.
- Click on it to activate.
- Duplicate posts can be customized by going to Settings.
Install HTML0 using a zip file
- Download the archive from https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/ (latest stable) or the newest snapshot ZIP from GitHub;
- Unzip the archive file on your computer.
- Upload the duplicate post directory to the (/wp-content/plugins/) directory.
- Activate the plugin by visiting the Plugins in WordPress Dashboard.
- You can customize the behavior by going to Settings, Duplicate post.
Use
- You can click the Clone button below the title of the page/post in Edit posts/ edit pages. This will create a copy immediately and return you to the list.
- Selecting multiple items in Edit posts/ edit pages will allow you to set them and then copy all of them at once.
- Click on New Draft below the title of your post or page in Edit posts/ edit pages.
- You can also click the Copy to the new draft button above Cancel/ Moving to trash.
- In the admin bar, while editing a post (or viewing it as a logged-in member), you can click Copy into a new draft.
You can edit the draft by clicking on 3, 4, and 5. Change what you like, then click ‘Publish’ to finish.
You can also use the template tag to clone pages/posts in the front end. The link takes you to the same edit page as the admin bar.

Migration of custom domain
You can avoid DNS resolution downtime by binding the active DNS name to your app as described in a data-linktype=”relative-path” href=”https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app service/manage_custom_dns_migrate_domain.” By securing the DNS name of your app to the DNS name that is currently active, you can avoid DNS resolution interruptions.
