RSS To The WordPress CMS

In this video, we’ll use two additional addons

  • Full-Text RSS Feed Addon This Full-Text RSS Feeds add-onaddon connects the feed to post addon to the Premium Full Text service. This allows you to access the complete content with unlimited feed sources.

How To Move Content From One Site To Another

In this article, I’ll explain how to move information from a previous blog to a fresh one using The WP RSS Aggregator plugin. Making an RSS feed lets you create a feed source and add content to your site.

If you have installed the WP RSS aggregate plugin, go into RSS the SS Aggregator > Add New from the admin panel.

Give your feed the name.

Include details about the source of your feed so that the RSS aggregator will import contents from

  • Its URL determines the feed’s source.
  • Limit lets you specify the number of posts that you’d prefer to upload at one time.

Finding the correct URL

Most RSS feeds will link to all articles on a site. If you’re interested in moving to a specific category of posts at a period, you should click on the link for the class, followed by the feed URL.

E.g. www.your-site.com/the-category-name/feed/

In the section Feeds to Post General tab, pick the kind of posting and status, the formatting, and the date you want to include on your new website.

Select to allow or deactivate comments. Remember to force full content. You can also select to import the blog excerpt of the post and an official link.

Under Feed to Post to Post Images, Choose the checkbox next to Import Images. You can set the minimum size and allow featured images. I’ve made my featured image utilize the first image within the content of my post.

The final step is to configure the Author settings. You canthe author to your site’s original one and include an alternative user.

After you’ve configured your settings, press the button to publish. Button. Your posts will begin appearing on your new website!

If you experience issues, particularly with images, check the CDN settings. It could be blocking you from importing images onto your new website. Make sure to turn it off before you start the import.
